Rotary dryers

A rotary dryer consists of a drum, supporting and supporting-thrust bearings, a drive, a drive attachment, an inlet and outlet assembly, and inlet and outlet seals. The drum interior is equipped with components to intensify the drying process, such as chains, blades, cells, etc., depending on the material being dried. The dryer drum is supported by rings mounted on it on roller assemblies with rolling bearings, one of which also includes support rollers to limit the axial movement of the drum.

The inlet and outlet are designed to allow for the supply and subsequent discharge of drying gases, as well as the supply of wet material and the removal of dried material. Detailed solutions vary depending on the material being dried and the type of dryer. The drum's rotation is achieved by an electric motor via a gear train, a drive attachment, and a gear ring mounted on the drum. The drum's rotational speed can be adjusted.

Project manager MAKRUM Łukasz Górecki

"Our equipment has been used and installed in chemical plants since the 1970s. However, a product made entirely of acid-resistant steel opens up new markets for us, not only in Poland but also abroad."

As a manufacturer of rotary dryers, we provide our customers with high-quality machines designed for drying bulk and plastic materials such as limestone, coal, sand, mineral fertilizers, coke, slag, as well as sludge, silt, clay, mineral feed additives, and mineral concentrates. They are widely used in the non-ferrous metals, coal, cement, chemical, lime, and mineral fertilizer industries. If you are interested in purchasing rotary dryers, MAKRUM will be happy to answer all your questions..
